Until Mac OS 8.5, basic care for the Directory structure of your Macintosh volumes was sadly under-emphasized, and even more sadly over-neglected by Mac users. The articles in this section will attempt to give you a basic understanding of what it is, what it does, and why you need to be nicer to it.
